Back End Date Engineer
We are a small team in the product quality validation space trying to disrupt how our Debug engineers think by providing them the right data, at the right time to help in accelerating their work. We are looking for a data engineer on our team who will help build out the back end for delivering these insights to our engineers.
Looking for an experienced programmer having worked with Python and BigData tool stack (Hadoop, Apache Spark/Pig, Hive, Hue Experience with version control systems (git), test driven development required.
Skills required not limited to the following:
-Python
-Big Data tool stack (Hadoop, Apache Spark/Pig, Hive, Hue
-Experience with version control systems (git), test driven development
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
-Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
-Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
-Multitasking and extreme accuracy and quality with deliverables
Education: Bachelors in CS or EE or higher and 5+ years’ experience
Preferred skills:
Experience in building out scalable data storage and delivery systems on Hadoop. Computer architecture knowledge is a plus. Some exposure to productionizing machine learning algorithms and knowledge of statistics.
5+ years Python programming & 1-2+ with Apache Spark
