Position:        Systems Administrator

Location:       Tallahassee, Florida

Duration:       12+ Contract Position

End Client:    State of Florida



Job Requirements:

1) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or other related field; 2) Two – Five (2-5) years of programming/systems analysis experience;

3) Experience with Connect, uFACTS, or similar Unemployment Compensation (UC) system;

4) Knowledge of Operating systems (Microsoft or Linux);

5) Relational database experience with oracle, or SQL Server;

6) Understanding of N-Tier Architecture;

7) Experience with large infrastructure systems;

8) Understanding of Agile Development Methodology;

9) Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 or later;

10) Team Foundation Server (TFS);

11) SAP Crystal Reports;

12) Windows Communication Foundation (WCF);

13) Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (web services);

14) IBM FileNet.



Role and Responsibilities:

1) Responsible for the analysis, development, modification, installation, testing and maintenance of operating systems software;

2) Evaluate vendor supplied software packages and makes recommendations to IT management;

3) Manages Oracle and MS SQL server environments;

4) Analyze system logs, identify potential issues with production application and able to handle war room situation;

5) Perform IBM FileNet performance tuning and work with IBM customer support to troubleshoot production issues;

6) Manage OpenText RightFax environment for receiving faxes;

7) Manage QAS environment for address validation and troubleshoot production issues;

8) Perform periodic maintenance of Genesys Call recording and provide business hours support;

9) Support Central document intake users by troubleshooting Capture Pro software issues;

10) Monitor application interfaces and troubleshoot Globalscape issues;

11) Provide support to UC4 users and troubleshoot batch failure issues;

12) Upgrade Brava client and provide support to Brava users;

13) Monitor Blazon servers and work with support to resolve production issues;

14) Manage session Scale Out server cluster software;

15) Provide support to production HP suite environment (HP Diagnostics, ALM, DEO Contract Number: C2555 Version Date: 041719 2 SiteScope, Performance center and BSM);

16) Manage SAP Suite like Business Web Intelligence environment, Business Objects Data Services Professional and SAP Business Objects Enterprise Premium;

17) Monitor Symantec Antivirus infrastructure and schedule periodic server security software updates;

18) Manage F5 load balancer, setup virtual servers, pools, nodes and troubleshoot production issues;

19) Apply operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes;

20) Work in a team environment;

21) Manage multiple tasks and small projects as well as service requests and incident resolution;

22) Plan and manage the Server and Storage Virtualization, setup CIFS servers, create storage pools and FC switch zoning;

23) Perform hardware maintenance on HP server chassis HPC7000, Virtual Connect, EMC VNX5500, 5300 and Fax gateway;

24) Install and prepare technical documentation for system software applications;

25) Execute disaster recovery procedures; and

26) Provide 24/7 on call support including weekend on call support.
