Job Description :
  • Local candidates only.  This job is 100% onsite at first, and then will go hybrid sometime after joining and candidate gets acclimated.
  • Only need a 3+ year person.
  • USC, GC, EAD ideal.

A UI Developer who will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces for maximum usability and performance in web applications. The UI Developer reports to the VP of Information Services and is responsible for specific tasks as outlined under responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for front-end coding and visual comps to create a polished and highly functional user interface with a focus on usability and simplicity of design
  • Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces in multiple platforms to ensure all designs render correctly and systems function properly, incorporating feedback from end users as well as members of the design team
  • Ensure software operates ideally across a range of programs and platforms, including Microsoft and Apple products and various mobile operating systems
  • Work with a small team to design and build software applications to function within our platform
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 3 years working as a professional UI developer
  • Must be proficient in the following:
    • Java
    • Java Portals
    • Java MVC Patterns
    • JSP
    • JQuery
    • CSS Styling
    • MySQL
  • Experience with Liferay strongly preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns
  • Strong understanding of front-end coding and development technologies required
  • Understanding of medical terminology preferred
  • Healthcare experience dealing with patient health information preferred
  • Per Enterprise HR Security Policy, this position is considered HY (high risk for PHI and may require additional training/screening)
