Java SPRING developer
Minneapolis Minnesota
Contract
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work with Mergers & Acquisitions team on various projects converting groups from their systems. There could be new development but much of the development will be making modifications to existing code.
Participate as a team member to deliver application design and development
Work with other teams to plan and deliver features
Work with Solution Architect to deliver features that meet the architectural standards
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
A lot of modification of existing code but will work on new code as well
Working to implement scripts from newly acquired orgs into corporate business plans.
Minimum Requirements
6+ years software development experience in Java SPRING and other Java
Critical Requirements
Advanced organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively
Ability communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization; build trust and maintain strong business relationships
Ability to manage multiple, concurrent priorities, projects and tasks and continue to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Scrums start around 9am and then it’s 5-6pm when they get out. There might be very limited OT or shift changes at times but this is rare.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Experience with GIT, Java SPRING, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Azure Cloud (Knowledge), Oracle/SQL Database preferred
Need someone who can work independently and take initiative on their own to perform the work and report back on it.
Looking for local candidates in Minnesota. Need candidates who are already living in the area, not who are willing to relocate
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology
