Relationship builder able to evangelize the mission and value of UX, build bridges, seek and gain alignment across business and discipline groups. Be responsible for creating and leading best in class intuitive visions, concepts, wireframes and visual designs for new work-order product experience

Creating flows and journey maps to depict interaction solutions that are in line with user, business and IT requirements.

Ability to present UX work and findings to a variety of audiences, including business product owners, IT resources, and senior leaders in the Best Buy enterprise.

Ability to work with business product owners, engineers, IT developers, business analysts, researchers, and other project resources.

Ability to translate complex user need, business requirements and strategy documents into simple, concise and compelling solutions.

Produce a variety of UX deliverables including visual design and information architecture.

Perform UX quality assurance against developed applications and log defects with development teams.

Must understand mobile first and be proficient in designing for touch devices for the product evolution.

Comfortable acting as a designer and partnering with designers within a framework of project requirements to completion of deliverables as required.


Qualifications:


Portfolio required for submission (online or PDF is acceptable)

Portfolio must include visual design, user flows and wireframes

10+ years? experience delivering digital solutions to a variety of industries

5+ years experience in leadership role with other designers is preferred

Experience working on website, tablet applications and other touch-based interfaces

Strong ability to build relationship, collaborate and assert a point of view positively

Touch and mobile first experience preferred

Comfortable with ambiguity


Preferred Qualifications:


Bachelor?s Degree in user experience, graphic design, marketing, human factors or similar

Empathy

Experience transforming complex process to intuitive human-centered digital solutions.

Prototyping skills

Understanding of HTML/CSS (position does not include front-end development
