Responsibilities:
We have an 18-month project with our client in Albany, NY that requires a Network Architect, Expert
Day-to-Day Tasks include, but not limited to:
Analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document, and implement network architecture.
Work with staff to ensure highly available network infrastructure including monitoring to resolve issues before they become critical.
Produce technical and user documentation as requested.
Any other tasks necessary for completion of project deliverables and application support.
Provide technical solutions for large scalable designs.
Communicate effectively with both technical and nontechnical personnel.
Communicate with programmatic units to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Design and implement computer and information networks, including LAN, WAN, and cloud networks.
84+ Months-Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Preferred Qualifications:
84 Months experience designing, implementing, and supporting wide area networks including ipsec tunnels, dynamic routing, and high availability.
84 Months experience in securing, designing, implementing, and supporting local area networks.
84 months experience with securing wide areas networks
48 months experience designing and implementing large network projects.
48 months experience monitoring network infrastructure.
48 months experience with scripting tools to deploy network configuration and performing changes.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related degree.
