Position: Selenium QA Analyst
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: Long term Contract
Rate: 45 Max
Must have Selenium (5+ yrs) with C# experience writing and EXECUTING the scripts. Must have experience developing the framework versus working off a framework that already exists.
Job Description:
Software QA Analyst with manual testing and automation experience. Mortgage experience preferred. 4-5 years’ experience.
Will be designing and creating coded solutions and scripts that implement either test cases or process workflows. The engineer will be working within the existing automation framework, enhancing the framework to account for new technologies and automation needs, and should be familiar with core development concepts and paradigms.
The engineer will also need to interface with testers to provide guidance, and other SME''s to elucidate and clarify requirements.
Hands on test creation and execution experience with a good balance of manual and automation.
Provide ongoing assessment of automation landscape, and apply best practices to drive improvements
C# / Selenium development, and integration experience with CI/CD environments
Working knowledge of other automation tools, such as Client UFT and Xamarin UITest.
Demonstrated ability to reduce testing costs through tooling and interfacing (creation of stubs and harnesses, SQL integration, etc
Technical and logical problem solving, to provide elegant test automation solutions
Cross-platform mobile automation development
Assess AUT codebases, and provide input to other development teams for optimizations
Conform and Contribute to the Automation Framework
Determine documentation needs and implement accordingly
Assist the technology delivery team in deploying, troubleshooting, and optimizing application software
Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience in software development role preferred.
Work and/or academic experience testing applications using automated testing tools.
Solid Selenium background and preferably C# experience to write the scripts.
Any other Automation tool experience would only be beneficial.
Experience in both writing and executing the scripts through the whole process and not just scripting itself or having the automation team execute the scripts.
Understand the application itself including the requirements to develop their own business perspective and not rely just on the Manual test team to provide that information.
Need to understand the framework including architecture and design.
Work independently and provide guidance if needed.
