ServiceNow Developer Summary: You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of IT professionals to support, maintain, and enhance the ServiceNow platform. Required Education/Experience Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from accredited university or equivalent experience
- MUST HAVE: 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience
- MUST HAVE: 3+ years advanced JavaScript experience
- MUST HAVE: 3+ years Angular JS experience
- MUST HAVE: familiar with ITIL and ITIL processes
- MUST HAVE: familiar with Agile development methods

- MUST HAVE: ServiceNow admin certification is required
- Additional ServiceNow certifications preferred
- Proven track record of working successfully within a global team that is diverse and distributed geographically
- Expert knowledge of Business Rules, Client Scripts, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and integrations using JSON, REST, SOAP
- Solid knowledge of Agile Development, SDLC methodologies, Automated Testing Framework (ATF)
- Familiarity with CI/CD
- Proven experience in facilitating requirement gathering workshops, design and development activities to deliver and deploy a satisfactory end-user experience
- Upgrade and patching experience
- Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs
- Experience with Business Rules , SOAP, REST and Integration of ServiceNow to Other Applications
- Experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow modules - Incident Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, IT Asset Management or other ITSM applications
- Ability to work independently and without significant oversight
Job Responsibilities: - Configure, customize, script, and develop the ServiceNow platform using best practice methodologies
- Integrate data from multiple data sources, as needed
- Provide technical and thought leadership in both system integration and application development, while promoting best practices in these areas
- Provide guidance and training, perform peer code reviews to ensure the development of best-practices
- Review internal artifacts and deliverables to ensure they meet solution requirements
- Create applications and add features to the ServiceNow Service Portal(s)
- Prepare and maintain technical specification and documents, architectural diagrams, system documentation and manuals
- Expert in troubleshooting production and test issues, performing root cause analysis, recommending corrective action, and performing resolution efforts
- Provide guidance to ITSM process owners, to continuously improve processes and apply those improvements to the ServiceNow platform
- Design, and develop (code) technical solutions, implement them and perform the appropriate testing and debugging
- Understand business needs and works with stakeholders to perform application functionality gap analysis and feasibility studies
- Leads development activities for a functional area, module, or project
- Ensures applications and systems possess sufficient security and best practice controls
- Implement reusable code and improve standardization
