About the job
We are seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Solution Architect for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will lead the design, implementation, and operational support of MDM solutions across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and architecture, with the ability to align MDM strategies with business objectives while supporting data governance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-level MDM architecture and reference models.
- Create and maintain master data documentation such as data flow diagrams, data lineage, and catalogs.
- Define and execute strategies for data integration, matching, survivorship, and stewardship.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable MDM solutions.
- Support data migration, profiling, and cleansing to ensure high-quality master data.
- Provide oversight on MDM tools and platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Partner with governance and business teams to establish data standards and best practices.
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance for data-related projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data management and architecture, with expertise in MDM solutions.
- Proficiency in data modeling, data integration (ETL), and data quality tools.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and data stewardship processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid data architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies preferred.
