Role – AWS Devops Architect

Duration – Long Term

Location – Remote

Skills:



Good understanding of AWS Infrastructure services and their limitations

Experience working on/with microservices architectures; web services; ReST APIs & API Gateways;

Have experience building and deploying as containers on a cloud platform using an automated CI / CD pipeline.

Experience in configuring & monitoring different attributes and handling scale up and scale down scenarios for the application in AWS

Application monitoring through operations insights; application insights

Provide best practices around provisioning production and non-production environments on AWS to optimize the usage

Have good understanding in implementation of advanced security; authentication and single sign on across cloud and on premise

Strong understanding of the advantages and limitations of various AWS services

Provide best practices around provisioning production and non-production environments on AWS to optimize the usage

Have good understanding in implementation of advanced security; authentication and single sign on across cloud and on premise

Have implemented a Dev Ops model on AWS

Have evaluated products/technology & created IT Roadmap for adoption

Have adopted end to end automation

At least 3+ years of experience working in an Agile team





Job Description:



Understand customers' overall portfolio; IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions)

Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs; ensuring technical viability of new projects and successful deployments; while orchestrating key resources and infusing key Infrastructure technologies (e.g. Windows and Linux IaaS; Security; Networking; etc; and/or Application Development and DevOps technologies (e.g. App Service; containers; serverless; cloud native; etc as appropriate

Develop deep relationships with key customer IT decision makers; who drive long-term cloud adoption within their company to enable them to be cloud advocates

Be the Voice of the Customer; Share insights and best practices; and connect with Engineering teams to remove key blockers

Assess the Customers' knowledge of AWS platform and overall cloud readiness to support customers through a structured learning plan and ensure its delivery through partners

Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects in developing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on the AWS platform

Establishing software best practices; designing and analyzing requirements and specifications; developing migration procedures.

Leads in the administration and configuration of AWS DevOps tools

Design and enable interfaces for AWS DevOps Builds and Release management and enable CI / CD pipeline for applications.

Mentors and coaches’ other members of the agile team.

Optimizes packages to meet SLA/functional requirements.

Provides functional and technical expertise on applications and interfaces.

Drives engagement with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure deployment of applications.

Designing complete monitoring solutions and remediation using operations tools including ITSM ticketing platforms

Assists product owners in systems analysis and creation of documentation for all business processes.

Participate in technical design meetings with Enterprise and application architects

Must have strong understanding of application architecture; common failure modes and the development process

Must have strong understanding of 24x7 application operations; including Incident Management; Change Management; and Capacity Management

Works within the SAFe Agile framework. Participate in sprint planning.

Conduct daily scrum; technical clinic’s and other governance ceremonies with DevOps team

Assists in production support and maintenance of applications as needed.
