Job Title: Yocto Setup Engineer
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: contract 6+months
Job Details:
Client is upgrading their the current version of Yacto project and would need someone who have thorough experience in using different tools/ techniques of Yacto to complete the migration
Scripting is involved
GIT experience is needed
Must Have Skills:
6+ years with at least 3+ years of working experience with Yocto (expertise in customizing/ upgrading Yocto versions for different OS/ modules) and GIT
1. 6+ years of expertise in Yocto project (Bit bake, Recipe, Meta layersetc)
2. Expertise in upgrading Yocto project (Ex Krogoth to Warrior or latest versions) for Linux OS
3. Experience in resolving integration issues (GCC, Linuxetc)
Detailed Job Description:
1) 6 years of expertise in Yocto project Bit bake, Recipe, Meta layersetc

3) Experience in resolving integration issues GCC, Linuxetc
Top 3 responsibilities:
Expertise in Digital TVSet top box MPEG TS, DVB domain, programming in CC
- Upgrade Yocto project to latest version such that future migrations are easy
- Resolve any integration issues that may arise by upgrading yocto such as GCC, Linux compatibility with existing application
Minimum years of experience: 5+
