Good information and sound knowledge in Workday Payroll and Oracle PeopleSoft Financials Core (AP, AR, GL)
We are seeking an experienced ERP professional with strong functional and technical expertise in Workday Payroll and Oracle PeopleSoft Financials (AP, AR, GL). This role will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing our enterprise financial and payroll systems to meet the evolving needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday Payroll:
- Configure and support Workday Payroll processes, including payroll calculations, deductions, tax setup, and year-end processing.
- Manage payroll integrations with internal and third-party systems (e.g., banks, tax authorities, benefits providers).
- Monitor and troubleshoot payroll processing issues and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Participate in Workday payroll testing and implementation of new features or updates.
- Create and maintain reports using Workday Report Writer and other tools.
Oracle PeopleSoft Financials (AP, AR, GL):
- Provide functional and technical support for PeopleSoft Financials modules including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
- Perform system configuration, testing, and validation of financial processes.
- Develop queries and reports using PeopleSoft Query and nVision tools.
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
Cross-Functional / General:
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT stakeholders to gather business requirements and deliver effective ERP solutions.
- Participate in system upgrades, patches, and regression testing efforts.
- Maintain documentation on system configuration, processes, and user guides.
- Provide user training and support for both Workday and PeopleSoft modules.
