Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Wireless Technology Lead Engineer to guide the design, development, and implementation of advanced wireless solutions across the organization. This role requires deep technical expertise in wireless networking, excellent leadership capabilities, and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
You will be responsible for evaluating current wireless infrastructure, defining the future state of network capabilities, optimizing performance, and ensuring the reliability and security of wireless systems. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience with enterprise wireless technologies, emerging wireless standards, network architecture, and troubleshooting complex wireless environments.
Key Responsibilities -
Lead the design and architecture of enterprise wireless networks for high availability, performance, and scalability.

Oversee installation, configuration, and optimization of wireless infrastructure including access points, controllers, antennas, and supporting systems.

Evaluate and recommend wireless technologies, standards, and tools to support business and technical requirements.

Conduct wireless site surveys, spectrum analysis, and performance assessments to ensure optimal coverage and capacity.

Troubleshoot advanced wireless issues and guide teams in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Define wireless security policies, implement best practices, and ensure compliance with organizational security standards.

Collaborate with network, security, infrastructure, and application teams on cross-functional initiatives.

Prepare technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and operational guidelines.

Lead wireless technology upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across wireless projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications -
12+ years of experience in wireless networking engineering or related roles.

Strong expertise in enterprise wireless technologies such as Wi-Fi 6/6E, WLAN architecture, and advanced RF concepts.

Hands-on experience with wireless controllers, cloud-managed wireless systems, and access point deployments.

Proficiency with tools such as Ekahau, AirMagnet, or similar for wireless design and analysis.

Deep understanding of RF propagation, channel planning, roaming, interference mitigation, and advanced tuning.

Knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing, and switching fundamentals.

Experience implementing wireless security protocols including WPA3, 802.1X, RADIUS, and related frameworks.

Ability to troubleshoot complex wireless issues using packet capture, logs, and RF analysis tools.
