Windows-VMware Administrator

100% Remote

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Windows–VMware Administrator responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting Windows server environments and VMware virtualization infrastructure. The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems while supporting business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments
Manage and support VMware infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter)
Monitor system performance, availability, and security
Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups
Handle user access, Active Directory, and Group Policy management
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and virtualization issues
Manage virtual machines (provisioning, cloning, migration)
Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place
Maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter)
Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs)
Experience with backup and recovery tools
Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft certifications
Experience with storage technologies (SAN/NAS)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
Knowledge of security best practices
