Position: Windows Server Admin
Location: Redmond, WA (Remote until Covid)
Duration: Full Time
Job Description:
· 4 to 8 years of IT experience and flexible to work on 24 X 7 Support model
· Ability to proactively diagnose issues and troubleshooting skills across different technology layers (Server, Database, Network, Middleware, and application)
· Participate in after business hours# operational maintenance activities and deployments
· Plan and execute patch management process on the Windows Server environment using WSUS.
· Should have hands on experience in troubleshooting hardware and operating systems and good team player
· Should have hands on experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 , Windows Server 2012 R2 and windows server 2016(Imaging , buildout and decommission)
· Should have hands on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, WDS and DFS. And basic networking concepts and good network troubleshooting skills.
· Hands on experience in a Skype for Business & Teams enterprise environment or O365 .
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Good knowledge on ITIL concepts
· Good Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell
· Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps along with Root cause Analysis
· Able to communicate effectively with customers & partners able to perform work under continuous deadline pressure
Skills
· In-depth knowledge of Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, VLANs.
· Should have very good hands on experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 , Windows Server 2012 R2 and windows server 2016 (Imaging , buildout and decommission)
· Good Experience with automation through Jarvis/Geneva and scripting using PowerShell
· Good knowledge on Knowledge on Azure Infrastructure and portal
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills
· Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps along with Root cause Analysis
