Title: Infrastructure Support Engineer – Azure and SQL Servers
Location: Charlotte, NC – willing to travel 50%
Duration: Long-term
Overall experience: 6 - 8 Years

Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Strong customer-oriented attitude and customer facing skills is a must
Proven ability to take ownership of problems and see to resolutions is a must
High degree of analytical and problem-solving skills is a must
Hands on experience on Azure Virtual Networks, Security Groups, Azure Firewalls and VPN
Knowledge of core infrastructure components such as DNS, DHCP, Active Directory
Hands on experience in setting up application environment - Dev, QA and Production
Hands-on experience on Azure Monitor, Azure Automation, Azure Backup and Restoration
Hands on experience with monitoring and analytical tools like, Data Dog, Splunk, Site 24x7, SumoLogic, Nagios, Zabbix, Azure Logs and HD Insight etc
Hands on experience with ticketing tools like, Jira, ServiceNow, AzureDesk, Live Agent, ServiceDesk Plus etc
Experience in on-prem and cloud infrastructure components (Azure strongly preferred, but AWS/GCP acceptable)
Networking, Compute, Storage, Load-Balancing, Security, Active Directory
5+ years of technical support experience with demonstrable skills in troubleshooting technical issues with a software system in a Microsoft technologies/ platform
Need more than just passing information to the customer and the Engineering teams
Good understanding of networking both on-premises and Cloud
Automation skills, strong in scripting tools like PowerShell, and Azure CLI
Proficiency in scripting like, BASH, PERL, Python or Ruby would be helpful
Proven adaptable team player in versatile environment is a must
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Strong grasp of English language is a must
Strong oral & written communication skill is a must
