Job Title : ServiceNow AIOps Support Engineer

Position Overview
The client is seeking a ServiceNow AIOps Support Engineer to oversee, manage, and enhance AIOps implementations within the ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) suite. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and optimization of AIOps capabilities, including event ingestion, anomaly detection, service mapping, and automated remediation.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on ServiceNow expert with deep technical knowledge of ITOM modules, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate across ITSM, monitoring, and automation teams to deliver proactive operational intelligence.
Key Responsibilities

Provide operational support for AIOps functions, including Event Management, Predictive AIOps, Service Mapping, and CMDB.

Monitor and troubleshoot data ingestion pipelines from monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and Datadog.

Configure and fine-tune correlation rules, anomaly detection policies, and alert suppression logic to minimize noise and improve accuracy.

Collaborate with ITSM teams to ensure timely and accurate incident generation and routing.

Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and contribute to continuous improvement of AIOps capabilities and service reliability.

Work closely with ServiceNow platform engineers and developers to support automation workflows and integrations.

Maintain detailed documentation, dashboards, and runbooks to support visibility and operational excellence.

Support application upgrades, patch management, and testing for AIOps-related integrations and modules.

Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance predictive insights and strengthen proactive service monitoring.
Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, with specialization in ITOM and AIOps modules.

Proven expertise in Event Management, Service Mapping, Discovery, and CMDB.

Strong understanding of AIOps concepts such as correlation, anomaly detection, and noise reduction.

Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, SolarWinds, AppDynamics).

Solid grasp of ITSM processes (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).

Hands-on scripting experience using JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python for workflow automation.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities with a focus on problem resolution and continuous improvement.

Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM) module design and development.
