Roles & Responsibilities:
Must have worked on multiple small to mid-sized projects and at least 1 to 2 large sized implementations
Evaluates and completes medium to high complexity change/service requests to ensure adherence to technical processes
Provides feedback to the Technical Architects who create the architecture for the engagement
Should have very strong programming or administration experience
Helps create detailed technical documents including specifications installation guide and support packages as part of the overall repository
Executes conversion plans such as conversion from legacy to newly developed applications conversion plan for upgrades etc.
Can independently perform system upgrades and installations
Helps the testing team resolve defects/bugs during the testing and cutover phase
Usually involved from the early stages of transition to ensure smooth handover to the support team
Should have good knowledge on migration of databases packages solutions and architecture
Highly proficient in creating customized screens or reports i.e. Z-reports create new layouts or add fields on top of the existing layout
Has good number of years of experience with development in ABAP HCI PI FIORI Basis etc
Well versed with OOP (Object oriented programming) concepts
Strong knowledge of BAPI BADIs Enhancement and user exits
Has a solid understanding of integrating SAP system with 3rd party apps
