Job Description
Client is seeking Senior SAP MM/SNC Consultant
As a senior SAP ABAP Developer, you will be intensely involved in business process consulting you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
Location for this position is Austin, TX. his position may require travel to project locations.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in SAP projects, including 2 years’ experience in full-life cycle implementation projects in SAP SNC
Experience in Master data related projects
Working with the business users to define scope and gather business requirements
Testing and rollout of the final product
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work on multiple projects simultaneously
Be skilled in working with cross-functional teams
Analytical and Communication skills
Planning and Co-ordination skills
Deep technical knowledge in one or more below areas in SAP MM
At least 2 years of experience in SAP MM module including at least 2 SAP SNC implementation projects and 3 full life cycle project implementation
Able to analyze business requirements, providing conceptual and detail design to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of ABAP custom programs, testing and implementing the automated solution
Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM, SAP SNC EDI/Idoc Integration and system integration areas.
Knowledge and hands-on experience of B2b Integration and system to system integration of SAP through SAP PI / EDI/IDOC and other interface methods is essential
Extensive knowledge of SAP custom application programs, enhancements, BADIs/BAPIs, interfaces and user exits is essential
Experience in Master data related projects and Enterprise Portal is desirable
Ability to read ABAP codes is required.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, Analytical and Communication skills.
Experience with project management is desired and expected to possess planning and coordination skills
Writing of functional/technical specifications for ABAP custom solutions and interfaces
