Role: UI/UX Designer
Location: Plano, TX/Columbus, OH
Contract/full time
Duties:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and evaluate user requirements
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using A e, Fireworks, A e Illustrator, Sketch, or other design tools
- Conduct user acceptance testing to gather feedback and make necessary design improvements
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI design
- Utilize Jira or similar project management tools to track progress and communicate with team members
- Optimize designs for usability, performance, and accessibility
- Work closely with marketing teams to create visually engaging landing pages and promotional materials
- Collaborate with content creators to ensure a cohesive user experience across all platforms
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a User Interface Designer or similar role
- Proficient in A e Creative Suite (specifically A e Illustrator) and other design tools
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Experience with user acceptance testing methodologies
- Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience working with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
- Familiarity with Less or other CSS pre-processors is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Must Have Skills:
Service Design, Interaction Design, and strength in Visual/UI Design and Information Architecture, strategic storytelling frameworks + diagramming.
