Job Description :
Responsibilities:

Assist / Oversee Applications/Portals and prod environment.

- Manage and renew SSL certificates.

- Manage backup systems (database + applications)

- Help in managing/upgrading Linux servers with zero downtime.

- Document configurations, processes and procedures.

- Should be able to work with high traffic portals and applications.

- Experience with Linux servers' migration.

- DNS management on Route 53 and GoDaddy.


Skills:

- Ability to quickly learn new technologies as needed.

- Ability to prioritize and keep track of simultaneous tasks & deadlines.

- Should have good hands on experience with MySQL with couple of billion rows.

- Ability to produce clear technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Produce quality work under pressure, while keeping a professional attitude with co-workers/clients.

- Ability to share information and communicate technical information to team members in a friendly, concise manner.

- Self-motivated yet disciplined.

- Patience and ability to educate users in how to avoid or resolve problems.

- Experience in Operating System deployments

- Have a sense of humor and love technology!

- Debugging OS level performance issues.


Qualifications:

- 4+ years administering a Linux server.
- Docker
- MySQL/Postgres experience, along with SQL.
- Haproxy/Nginx certificate management.
- Monitoring / Alerting of application stack.
