System Engineer

We are seeking a skilled System Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support IT infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will ensure system reliability, performance, security, and scalability while working closely with cross-functional teams to meet business and technical requirements.
Design, deploy, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and system applications.
Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance activities.
Manage virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V/KVM) and storage solutions.
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Ensure system security through access controls, patching, and vulnerability management.
Document system configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Provide L2/L3 support for system-related incidents and service requests.
Collaborate with network, security, and application teams on infrastructure projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Strong experience with Windows Server and/or Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
Hands-on experience with virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls).
Experience with monitoring tools and automation/scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
Understanding of security best practices and compliance standards.
Good troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat, AWS, or VMware.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
ITIL knowledge or certification.
