Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior SDET who will lead test automation strategy, ensure end-to-end quality, and drive continuous improvement across complex, large-scale systems. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the test automation strategy for enterprise-grade applications

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks (UI, API, Mobile, and Performance)

  • Lead test architecture decisions and ensure best practices across teams

  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level SDETs and QA engineers

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows

  • Collaborate with developers during design and code reviews to improve testability

  • Perform advanced root cause analysis and drive defect prevention strategies

  • Ensure quality standards across functional, regression, performance, security, and reliability testing

  • Work with cross-functional teams to define quality metrics and release readiness

  • Evaluate and introduce new tools, technologies, and testing methodologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12–15 years of experience in software testing and test automation

  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript

  • Extensive experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium

  • Strong API testing experience using REST Assured, Postman, Karate, or similar

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner)

  • Strong knowledge of BDD/TDD, test design patterns, and test data management

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience in security testing and compliance standards

  • Exposure to AI/ML-based testing tools

  • Prior experience leading quality for large transformation or modernization programs
