Job Description :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize Power BI semantic models using Direct Lake and ADLS Gen2 data sources.
  • Develop high-quality, interactive dashboards in Power BI Desktop and publish through Power BI Service workspaces.
  • Connect, model, and transform data from ADLS Gen2 and Azure-based data architectures.
  • Serve as the technical lead for Power BI, governance, deployment pipelines, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with design, data engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable, production-ready dashboards.
  • Independently troubleshoot modeling, performance, and data integration issues in a cloud environment.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of BI development experience.
  • 5+ years hands-on with Power BI, including semantic models, dataflows, deployment pipelines, and workspace management.
  • Expert-level Power BI expertise in cloud deployment and optimization.
  • 2+ years building Direct Lake models.
  • Strong experience sourcing, modeling, and optimizing data stored in Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2).
  • Advanced DAX, semantic modeling, and performance tuning abilities.
  • Ability to operate independently and rapidly deliver high-quality solutions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric (helpful but not required).
  • Understanding of Lakehouse architecture, Delta Lake, or large-scale analytical modeling patterns.
  • Background in consumer analytics or dashboard-intensive environments.
