Job Description :
Position:SQL Developer with Apache Nifi or Solr Experience
Location:100% Remote
Duration:6+ months


Skills:

8 + years of SQL Development experience - need to be enterprise level and focused around large data sets. That means in the millions of records if not billions
Type 2 data set experience - experience establishing type 2 data sets, maintaining an audit history around changes to data, creating type 2 tables, maintaining large sets of data
Communication - this person will be interacting with all the different info sec teams and needs to be able to do so effectively
Critical Thinking Skills - they get a lot of vague requests/requirements and this person needs to be able to solution through that
Nifi experience - they use this currently to move data from SQL to Solr
Solr Experience - Back end of the different UIs that delivery data and the backend for a few home grown tools in the environment
Boomi experience is a massive plus


Responsibilities:
SQL Developer requirements and qualifications
8 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript
5 years of experience with Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)
X5 years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services
Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL\NewSQL databases
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
