The *Software Test Engineer II* will directly report to the Manager, Software Engineering, and will be responsible for testing and automating testing of .NET and NodeJS API service calls and front-end testing of ReactJS UI components for Manheims private store offerings. This Software Test Engineer II creates and maintains automated and manual test packs against all service development and actively identifies defects throughout the development lifecycle. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, this is a temporary work-from-home role but will ultimately work in the Atlanta, Georgia Office. *Your Role:** Testing and supporting various client implementations* Monitors Production breakages/defects* Implementing automation tests in industry-standard testing frameworks* Writing application code on time, within scope, and in compliance with company standards & practices and industry & platform-specific best practices.* Create automation tests and frameworks using industry-standard testing frameworks* Work with the product and the development teams to follow up on defects and be flexible to testing requests* Develop plans and estimates for the implementation of technical solutions within an Agile environment.* Work with different teams to ensure the quality of the product throughout the development cycle* Automate software using object-orientated practices and patterns, object-relational mapping concepts, responsive UI, and relational database designs Qualifications: *Minimum Skills/Experience:** Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Business; related work experience may be substituted for an advanced degree.* 3+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.* Strong experience with using a browsers Web Console and/or debugger to troubleshoot network calls (QA Tagging).* Required software development experience using C# and JavaScript* Integrate to back-end host systems via, SOAP and REST-based Web Services * Required experience with: * XUnit* Selenium* Preferred experience with: * * Mocha* Puppeteer* Jest* Proficiency using Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code* Troubleshoot and write SQL queries on Postgres relational database management systems * Supporting Continuous Integration processes through Team City or Jenkins* Experience with Agile methodology* Working experience in a unit, functional, and integration testing* Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements.* Other duties as needed or required.Who We Are*About Cox Automotive*Theres nothing ordinary about Cox Automotive.
