Title: ServiceNow Developer [XTGL_64764]
Location: San Jose, CA
Type: 6+ Months Contract
Overview:
We are in need of a ServiceNow Developer that has experience with GRC!
These candidates need to have a ServiceNow Community Page and 7-9 years of Developer experience.
We are looking for a candidate who will assist with the design, implementation and ongoing support of the cyber security automation program within the Information Security Team.
This position will work directly with teams inside and outside of GIS as part of our overarching automation strategy for Threat Management and Response, Vulnerability Management, and GRC initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation in the space of cyber security. As a security engineer in automation, you will be expected to be skilled at identifying opportunities for automation within the realms of security. We use ServiceNow as our platform for automation and the engineer should have extensive knowledge of the platform.
Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of platform administration, design, development and implementation of applications in ServiceNow
Work with different security teams to understand their requirements and build out workflows and automation for their needs in ServiceNow
Build and Deploy UI Policies, UI actions, script includes, scheduled jobs, import sets and transform maps
Build integrations from ServiceNow to other applications such as Slack, BMC Remedy, Splunk, Qualys, Active Directory, JIRA, SSO and so on.
Build Catalogs for security requirements
Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting, fixing bugs and conduct root cause analysis
Perform unit testing and functional testing; Adhere to all stages of the SDLC process before releasing code to production
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science (or related fields) with 10+ years of development work experience or MS degree in Computer Science (or related fields) with 8+ years of development work experience
Achieved a minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow as a ServiceNow developer and administrator
Experience with ServiceNow IRM (aka GRC), Security Operations and Vulnerability Response Product; Implementation of ServiceNow for IRM, Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response
Active on ServiceNow Community - Link to ServiceNow Community profile
Demonstrated success completing complex projects on time and showed an aptitude for learning new technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Achieved ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Risk and Compliance, ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Security Incident Response, ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Vulnerability Response and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certifications.
