APN Consulting has an immediate need for a direct client requirement:
Role: ServiceNow Architect (ITSM/SecOps/ITOM/ITAM/ITBM/GRC/FSM)
Location: Detroit, MI (Locals preffered)
Contract: 12+ Months
Job description
Design end-to-end solutions on the ServiceNow platform, incorporating modules such as IT Service Management (ITSM), Security Operations (SecOps), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Business Management (ITBM), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), and Field Service Management (FSM).
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, including developers and administrators, throughout the solution lifecycle.
Define best practices, standards, and methodologies for ServiceNow implementation and development.
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across various departments and translate them into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Engage with stakeholders to understand their pain points, challenges, and objectives, and propose innovative solutions to address their needs.
Lead the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow modules and functionalities, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
Customize ServiceNow applications using scripting (JavaScript), UI policies, UI actions, business rules, and other development tools.
Configure integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems, tools, and databases, utilizing REST and SOAP APIs.
Define data management strategies, including data import/export, transformation, and cleansing, to maintain data integrity and consistency within the ServiceNow platform.
Optimize the performance and scalability of ServiceNow solutions, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and performance issues.
Design and implement strategies for scaling ServiceNow applications to meet growing business demands and user requirements.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of ServiceNow solutions.
Conduct performance testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing to validate system functionality and performance.
Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, configuration guides, and release notes.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to project team members, administrators, and end-users on ServiceNow functionalities, best practices, and usage guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, SecOps, ITOM, ITAM, ITBM, GRC, and FSM modules.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and development methodologies.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and other web technologies.
Experience with ServiceNow development tools and APIs, including REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management processes.
Experience:
11 to 14 years of experience in ServiceNow architecture, design, and implementation.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex ServiceNow projects from concept to completion.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve technical issues effectively.
