Position Overview: The Senior Siebel Developer is responsible for providing technical leadership, architectural direction, and hands-on development support for Siebel-based solutions. This role involves designing, coding, and implementing scalable and secure Siebel applications to meet evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical Siebel development, guidance, planning, and vision to development teams.
Design, configure, and code Siebel IT solutions aligned with business requirements.
Deliver solutions for Loyalty Programs, Promotion Configuration, Loyalty Points, Guest Benefits, and Field Services modules.
Configure and develop using Siebel Tools, Siebel Web Tools, Siebel Scripting, Workflows, EAI, Web Services, and REST integrations.
Develop enhancements for Siebel Open UI using jQuery, Java plug-ins, HTML5, CSS, and AngularJS.
Support Siebel upgrade initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and system performance.
Define and implement solutions that meet standards for security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and usability.
Utilize Siebel Workspace and Integration Workspace concepts in development processes.
Review code and design deliverables to ensure quality and consistency.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and maintain a positive, solution-oriented work environment.
Conduct static code analysis and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Preferred/Additional Skills:
Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and a basic understanding of Kubernetes (K8s).
Familiarity with Germain monitoring tools.
Working knowledge of Selenium test automation, Java, and Siebel Test Automation Framework.
Experience with DISA and Usage Pattern Tracking.
