Job Description :
We are seeking a full-time contractor or employee for a Senior QA Engineer – EHR Applications role.
Responsibilities:
  •  Experienced in writing and executing test cases, as well as creating test plans and test data for both manual and automated testing.
  •  Proficient in SAAS product testing, software usability, and the software development lifecycle.
  •  Skilled in managing the testing process, including test plan creation, execution, and database validation using complex SQL queries.
  •  Experienced in creating test scripts for EHR applications, including practice management, clinical workflows, and billing.
  •  Expert in QA automation with tools like UFT and Selenium, and knowledgeable in ALM and JIRA for defect tracking and management.
  •  Familiar with HL7 FHIR, and experienced in various testing types such as unit, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  •  Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to ensure smooth implementation of EHR systems.
  •  Experienced in mentoring and training QA teams, particularly in EHR testing, data migration, and workflows.
  •  Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including clinicians and project managers. 

Required Skills:
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases as well as creating test plans.
  • Knowledge of SAAS product testing, software usability concepts and software development lifecycle
  • Experience in managing testing process with creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test data for manual testing and automated scripts.
  • Ability to generate manual and automated test scripts to support business requirements.
  • Experience in writing/testing scripts in electronic medical records practice management, clinical, interface and billing workflows within an EHR application.
  • Strong QA automation testing and scription experience using UFT (unified testing tool).
  • Strong knowledge of complex SQL query writing and database validation.
  • Experience in generating manual and automated test scripts to support business requirements.
  • Experience working on different types of testing : eg unit, integration, regression, smoke , user acceptance, system, stress and load/performance.
  • Ability to assist by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems or question about programs. Effectively organize and present complex technical information both orally and in writing.
  • Experience in collaborating with stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to understand requirements, identify potential issues, define testing score, and ensure smooth implementation of EHR. Coordinating testing activities and data collection
  • Experience in using automated testing tools such as, Katalon, Selenium, ALM, UTF, etc.
  • Experience in developing detailed test cases covering various scenarios user roles within the EHR system.
  • Experience in creating metrics to measure application quality and defect tracking.
  • Experience in mentoring and training QA team members on E HR testing methodologies, best practices, data migration testing and workflows.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in conducting API testing and automation
  • Knowledge and experience working on HL7 FHIR is preferred.
  • Knowledge of object oriented programming
  • Knowledge of Load/performance testing
  • Experience working in state agency
