Job Description:
· Designs, validates and brings new wireless medical products to market.
· Specifies precise new product functional requirements; designs, tests and integrates components to produce
final designs; and evaluates the design's overall effectiveness, reliability and safety.
· Designs, develops, executes and evaluates product specifications and fitness-for-use testing.
· Collaborates with internal R&D, test and manufacturing teams, as well as external contract designers,
manufacturing firms and product specialists to optimize designs.
· Identifies and helps resolve defects by analyzing log files independently.
· Video compatibility experience is a must have
· A solid background and working knowledge for wireless/RF is preferable.
· Also need strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities for complex wireless issues.
· Experience using lab equipment to troubleshoot wireless issues (e.g., spectrum analyzer) is required.
· Experience with wireless coexistence is highly desired.
· It will be a plus if the candidate is able to do software debugging and development in C.
· This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and
is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline.
· The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual
information.
Experience requirement: Minimum 4+ years
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer, or Software)
