Collaboration is woven into the fabric of everything we do; from 24-hour Hackathons to sprint reviews and scrum teams, youll be immersed in an environment that nurtures individualism, creative problem-solving, and intellect. *Your Role* The Senior Performance Test Lead will be responsible to create and manage a non-functional test capability thats key goal is to improve the performance, capacity, and resilience of the software product. As the Lead Performance Engineer, you would conduct an analysis of the system attributes such as responsiveness, throughput, peak workload capacity, and stability under load and have a performance report issued based on which configuration changes can be made to remove bottlenecks and improve application performance. The Lead Performance Test Engineer will be responsible to define and implement performance Testing strategy including roadmap, tools, frameworks, and approaches across application product teams. *Your Duties* * Create/assist in developing Performance test strategies/plans.* Responsible for system analysis, and decomposition of business and non-functional/system requirements to develop Performance/Load test scenarios. * Lead the design, creation, and execution of Performance test plans, document results accurately, determine severity levels, and log and retest discrepancies encountered during the testing process.* Execute load and performance tests against web-based applications, web service interfaces, and back-end server components.* Identify Key KPIs and performance scripts are designed to capture the application response around these core KPIs. Document and report test results while managing issues to resolution.* Able to tune cloud applications and provide cloud auto-scale recommendations. Qualifications: * Where permitted by applicable law, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be considered for this U.S.-based job.* (Reasonable accommodations for medical and religious objections will be considered.)* 5+ years of professional experience testing the performance of Software connected functionalities, and data endpoints* BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field (or additional 4 years broad development experience in lieu of education).* 2+ years experience with LoadRunner, Blazemeter, JMeter, and/or Performance Centre.* Experience with various Performance Testing and Application monitoring tools including * Test Environment, Test Data, and Performance Test & other Application Monitoring tools. *What we look for* * Experience writing and crafting performance scripts and ensuring stability and scalability of applications and environments. * Experience leading Performance Test readiness* Ability to plan and coordinate test execution as per the requirements, * Design Performance test strategy* Design & review test scripts and test data. * Experience ensuring criteria for testing is defined (expected results), analyze results of testing cycles * Experience presenting the results to appropriate stakeholders.* Ability to identify any potential issues, recommend solution/improvement/enhancements, and engage appropriate resource managers for resources required.* Meticulous in attention to detail and good judgment with a keen eye for testability, robustness, and Performance.* Experience with In-sprint (i.e., Agile methodology-based projects) Performance Testing.* Previous experience mentoring project teams to analyze root causes and find resolutions for the identified performance bottlenecks.* Experience in performance testing methodologies, processes, and tools. #Remote-Central #Remote-NE #Remote-SEWho We Are*About Cox Automotive*Theres nothing ordinary about Cox Automotive.
