Senior Network Engineer

100% Remote

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security, and performance of LAN, WAN, and cloud networks.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networks.
Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
Implement network security solutions (VPN, IDS/IPS, firewall policies).
Support data center and cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Perform network upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
Ensure network documentation and compliance with security standards.
Collaborate with IT teams for infrastructure and security projects.
Provide L2/L3 support and mentor junior engineers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5–8 years of hands-on networking experience.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, DNS, DHCP.
Experience with enterprise networking devices (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
Experience in firewall configuration and network security best practices.
Knowledge of SD-WAN and VPN technologies.
Experience with network monitoring tools.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure).
Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Python basics).
ITIL knowledge is a plus.
