Senior Microsoft 365 (M365)

Experience: 12–15 Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 Architect / Lead to design, implement, and govern enterprise M365 solutions. This role will provide technical leadership across collaboration, security, identity, and compliance while ensuring high availability, scalability, and user adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Define and lead the Microsoft 365 architecture and roadmap
Design and manage solutions across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams
Lead tenant-level governance, security, and compliance initiatives
Drive migration strategies from on-premises to M365 environments
Implement identity and access management using Azure AD / Entra ID
Establish policies for data loss prevention (DLP), retention, eDiscovery, and information protection
Oversee M365 security posture including Defender, Purview, and Conditional Access
Collaborate with security, networking, and endpoint teams
Mentor administrators and engineers; review designs and implementations
Manage vendors, licensing strategy, and capacity planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

12–15 years of experience in Microsoft technologies, with deep focus on M365
Strong expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
Advanced knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access
Hands-on experience with M365 security & compliance tools
- Microsoft Defender
- Microsoft Purview (DLP, retention, eDiscovery)
Experience with Intune / Endpoint Manager and device management
Strong understanding of PowerShell scripting for M365 administration
Experience with hybrid identity and messaging environments
Knowledge of governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Strong leadership, documentation, and communication skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Copilot for Microsoft 365 rollout and governance
Microsoft certifications (MS-102, SC-300, SC-400, etc.)
Experience managing large global tenants
