About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Guidewire Developer to join our growing technology team The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter, with strong technical and architectural knowledge of the P&C insurance domain. This role requires hands-on development, design leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust insurance solutions on the Guidewire platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement solutions using Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).Customize Guidewire applications using Gosu, Java, XML, and integration tools.Work closely with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end implementations.Lead and mentor junior developers on Guidewire best practices and coding standardsIntegrate Guidewire with external systems using web services (SOAP/REST) and message queues.Participate in architecture design sessions, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
Required Qualifications:
15+ years of IT experience, with 10+ years in Guidewire development (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).Strong proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, SQL, and integration frameworks.Experience with Guidewire Cloud and Guidewire Configuration & Integration.Deep understanding of P&C insurance business processes.Experience with Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter a plus.Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, Maven, and Jenkins.Guidewire certifications (e.g., PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter Developer/Integration Specialist) highly desirable.Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.Knowledge of DevOps and Cloud (AWS/Azure) integration.Prior experience in leading Guidewire upgrade or cloud migration projects.
