Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Database Management System (DBMS) professional with 10+ years of experience in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise-level databases. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database architecture, performance tuning, data security, and high-availability solutions across large-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain large-scale relational and non-relational databases.
Manage database installations, configurations, upgrades, and patching.
Ensure database availability, reliability, and performance optimization.
Perform database performance tuning (query optimization, indexing, memory management, etc.).
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Monitor database health and troubleshoot production issues.
Design and manage high-availability solutions (Replication, Clustering, Failover).
Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with company policies.
Work closely with application teams, developers, and DevOps teams.
Manage data migration, schema design, and database capacity planning.
Automate database tasks using scripting (Shell/Python/PowerShell).
Support cloud database platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Lead database modernization and performance improvement initiatives.

Experience in database automation and scripting
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
Certification in Oracle / Microsoft SQL Server / Cloud platforms (preferred)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or related field.
