The hiring manager is seeking someone that is more of a SAP Consultant than an IT Project Manager


SAP SD/MM/EWM Consultant

ATOS

Duration: TBD

Facilitate SAP, FIORI and related application projects with business andinternal and external IT partners and collaborates to meet customerrequirements. Lead development and implementation of the functional andtechnical aspects of the systems by maintaining an expert level awareness ofthe functionality and system options in accordance with company standards.Analyze complex functional/technical support & training and recommendsolutions in unfamiliar environments. Use agile methods to facilitatecustomer-centric solution development and ensure hand-over to IT operations.Manage and report on issues, problem tickets, and conduct priority sessionswith business partners on change requests. Provide second level support forsystem issues.

Responsibilities:
Provide functional expertise in defining business requirements, integrationtesting, user training and support for the SAP Systems SWT, VOISv in themodules SD, MM, EWM. Ensure the correct functionality of the systems; providesupport and guidance to the business on continuous improvement, interfaces,API’s and security related topics. Complete projects on time, in budget and inagreed quality.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (accredited school) or equivalent work experience withemphasis in:
Bachelor’s Degree must have 5-7 years (total) of experience in the following:Knowledge of agile project management methodologies; Process/Projectdevelopment in the automotive field and specifically the SAP areas of SD andMM. Knowledge of processes for quality and cost control, risk and vendormanagement to achieve maximum efficiency.

Additional Information:
High level of experience in SAP and SAP4 HANA and FIORI. Adeptness inconsulting skills, strong business process knowledge, cross-functionalapplication knowledge and expertise. Working knowledge in software, hardwareand database management systems. Must be capable of working independently withall levels of people in the organization and have a high degree ofmulti-tasking capabilities. Must possess excellent oral and writtencommunication skills in order to communicate complex technical solutions andexpertise to others. Must be highly proficient in functional and technicaldesign, testing and trouble-shooting techniques and be able to provide preparecost estimates, project plans and management presentations in a professionalmanner.



PMP Certification Required
Proven expertise in: Large scale (enterprise) Project Management utilizingindustry recognized PM methods and tools, such as the PMBOK from the PMI.
Proven Skills: Team and personnel leadership; Lead team of PM and Managementprofessionals on large scale, enterprise wide projects.
Experience in the following areas:
o Experience in managing large scale, highly complex, long-term projectsrecently
o Project management methodology based on the PMBOK 9 knowledge areas
o MS Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
o Project Management tool - Clarity
o Cost estimation techniques and business case preparation
o Financial services/captive auto finance industry experience
o Strong understanding of System Development LifeCycle (SDLC) & ITapplication
development process
