Mission: The ideal candidate will play a key role in integrating SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC with SAP Datasphere/(SAP BDC future state), designing data models, and delivering advanced planning and analytics through SAP Analytics Cloud. This role combines technical expertise in SAP data connectivity and replication with hands-on skills in analytics and reporting.
Day-to-day:
- Design, implement, and maintain data replication and data federation strategies in Datasphere using SAP tables and CDS views.
- Integrate SAP S/4HANA (RISE) and SAP ECC systems seamlessly with Datasphere.
- Develop and enhance SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reports, dashboards, and planning models to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and translate them into scalable analytical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance across data flows and reporting environments.
- Leverage data science and analytical methods to extract insights and support business objectives.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data replication and analytics processes.
Must-haves:
- Proven experience with SAP Business Data Cloud / Datasphere, including data replication and federation.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (Private Cloud) and SAP ECC connectivity to SAP Datasphere.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud for planning and analytics use cases.
- Experience working with SAP Tables and CDS views for data modelling.
- Solid understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
Plusses:
- Prior experience working as a data scientist or analyst in a SAP-centric environment.
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and predictive analytics.
- Connect Microsoft Power BI to SAP Datasphere for PowerBI reporting purpose.
