Title: Salesforce Developer

Note: Remote allowed until COVID-19 situation settles. If the resource is in the Austin area, the current requirement is to be in the office a minimum of once a week.
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
This is a hands-on role with solid understanding of Salesforce platform, its best practices, and architecture. The essential job requirements include planning, analyzing business requirements, design, develop scalable and reusable software and maintenance of existing systems
x Fully understand, support, maintain user roles, profiles, sharing access and security best practices.
x Develop and manage custom applications using the declarative customization capabilities of the Lightning Platform.
x Must be proficient with Apex, Lightning Components and specifically Lightning Web components.
x Develop and manage Experience Cloud Sites. Extend functionality with custom lightning web components as needed.
x Builds custom report types, reporting snapshots, complex charting, custom summary formulas, bucketing, joined reports, and cross-filters to build reports that meet complex business requirements.
x Must know when to extend the Lightning Platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components and be able to code proficiently.
x Must have a basic understanding of Digital Accessibility requirements.
x Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with Change Management Process.
x Create and maintain detailed set of instructions and system configuration, ERD, flowcharts, and other documentation as needed.
x Deliver quality deliverables as agreed upon within the schedule.
x Flexible enough to adjust to changes in work, technology, team, etc.
x Stay up to date on the latest Salesforce.com releases, technologies, applications, and integrations.
x The candidate must be self-driven, broadly curious, collaborative, and ready to rise to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum (Required):
Years Skills/Experience
5 Experience using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura and Web), Javascript.
3 Experience working with Salesforce API’s and general connectivity/integration best practices.
1 Must be proficient with Visual Studio Code, Javascript and Lightning Web Components.
5 Experience of working in a Lightning Environment.
4 Experience of working in an agile environment
5 Experience of working with Salesforce Experience Cloud
5 Must be proficient with Salesforce Security features.
5 Must have experience working with Service Cloud
Preferred (Optional):
Years Skills/Experience
Y/N Salesforce Admin, App Builder, Experience Cloud Consultant, Developer I, Developer II, Javascript Developer 1 certifications
Y/N Experience with TxDOT systems
Y/N Experience of working with Integration Tools.
