Job Title : Sr. Devops Engineer

Duration : 12+ Months - 2 weeks Onsite and 2 weeks Remote
Skills
Devops Engineer with platform build and application support experience.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical and non-technical details in a confident manner.
• Experience providing technical direction to both internal and external support teams.
• 4+ years in a system administrator, DevOps engineer or equivalent position in a large IT organization.
• Experience working in a DevOps environment, leveraging continuous delivery techniques. Working knowledge of Bit Bucket, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is a must.
• Knowledge on Helm Packaging for Kubernetes and Kubernetes components.
• Understanding of application build and deployment processes for various applications to VMs or to Kubernetes.
• Experience with CICD concept of build once and deploy anywhere.
• Experience creating, modifying, and running Jenkins jobs.
• Experience with Configuration Management tools (preferably Puppet).
• Strong Linux experience.
• Application troubleshooting experience with the expectation that the individual is capable of identifying and resolving issues independently.
• Comfortable engaging other teams and working with them to resolve issues.
• Ability to effectively explain issues to other teams and guide them as necessary to a resolution.
• Working experience and certifications in Unix and Unix-Like Server Administration.
• Experience writing advanced scripts and batch files using Python, Unix Script, or Ruby.
• A strong, team oriented spirit and a positive, exuberant personality focused on learning and overcoming obstacles.
