Job Title : Senior Quality Assurance Tester
On behalf of our client in the banking Services Sector, Procom Services is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Tester.
Must have strong UFT (Unified Functional Testing), formerly known as QuickTest Professional (QTP)
Spotlight Call with Hiring Manager :
* Looking for Senior QA, no job jumpers and coming from large enterprise environments, preferably banking.
* 100% remote until office re-open, preference for local candidates first.
* 5+ years IT Quality experience in Manual and Automation testing
* Must be familiar with the Software testing Lifecycle (STLC), Testing methodologies (Waterfall and Agile), languages and database tools.
* Must have 3+ years of hands on experience with UFT and Selenium Automation Tools including framework development
* Must be proficient in VB Scripting, Java and SQL
* Must have 2+ years of hands on experience with Cucumber Behavior Driven Framework (BDD)
* Must have 2+ years of hands on experience with Continue Development and Continues Deployment (CI/CD) through Jenkins
* Must have experience with JIRA issue management, Defect and Change management processes
* Preferred to have an understanding of Markets, Securities, Custody and Funds service

Senior Quality Assurance Tester - Job Description
* Own Manual and Automated Functional / Regression testing for large QA programs
* Learn existing Automation framework and enhance as needed
* Create and execute Automated testing using UFT and Selenium
* Perform Database and Back-end testing
* Ability to coordinate across multiple application teams to Design and Implement QA integration and end-to-end testing strategy for large programs
* Ability to translate the functional understanding to business-oriented test scenarios and testing across all integrated systems
* Expertise in various testing strategies and the ability to apply experience in determining the strategy to problem at hand
* Ensures project standards and procedures are clearly documented and followed throughout the SDLC; makes recommendations for enhanced documentation
* Documents findings and performs root cause analysis to provide recommended improvements. Collaborates with other areas in technology to learn and recommend solutions/improvements to existing standards and procedures
* Ability to drive testing best practices within an Agile scrum team
* Has the ability to coach developers on test practices and test automation frameworks
* Able to remain hands on and add value to the team in addition to performing leadership tasks/activities
* Able to create dashboards in JIRA and track quality metrics to report to stakeholders as needed
* Knows when to escalate issues to management and when to handle within the team
* Ability to work independently and highly self-motivated to be willing to take ownership and accountability
* Ability to work under pressure during tight deadlines
* Experience working in a global team in a vendor dependent model
* Performs other duties and functions as assigned
Senior Quality Assurance Tester - Mandatory Skills
* 5+ years IT Quality experience in Manual and Automation testing
