Mobile Developer iOS and Android - Contract -Remote

 

Location : Columbus OH/ Remote

 

Description:

 

  • Writing native Android and iOS code as part of a rotating development pair. 
  • Writing TDD unit and integration tests. 
  • Participating in daily standups with developers, testers, and product owners to review work performed yesterday and the work to be performed today.
  • Participating in the planning meetings at the beginning of each sprint and retrospectives at the end of each sprint. 
  • Estimating work
  • Reviewing pull requests. 
  • Mentoring less experienced developers. 
  • Doing spikes to provide a team with strategies and examples. 

 

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Expert knowledge of software development tools and methods for Android and/or iOS programming. 
  • Excellent knowledge of design, testing procedures, and configuration.
  • Excellent knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. 
  • Excellent knowledge of current technologies associated with Android and iOS development.
  • Ability to learn; this lab develops for both Android and iOS.
  • Ability to write clear, understandable logic for maintainable code which meets design specifications. 
  • Ability to test and analyze data. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related field or equivalent education, technical training and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in Android/iOS native development with 3 or more deployments into the App Store or Google Play store.
