· Experience in Informatica Administration (PC or IDQ or MDM)
· Experience in Informatica tool installation, configuration, platform & data protection, disaster recovery and performance tuning
· Experience in RHEL shell scripting and filesystem
· The Senior Informatica Data Quality Developer (IDQ Developer) is responsible for designing, developing, programming testing, deploying, maintaining, and documenting a project's data quality procedures and its outputs.
· The IDQ Developer must document at a functional level how the procedures work within the data quality applications.
· The primary tasks associated with this role are to use Informatica Data Quality to profile the project source data, define or confirm the definition of the metadata, cleanse and validate the project data, check for duplicate or redundant records, and provide data consuming parties with concrete proposals on how to proceed with solution development.
· Profile source data and determine all source data and metadata characteristics; Design and execute a Data Quality Audit/Assessment;
· Design and execute the data quality mappings that will cleanse, de-duplicate, and otherwise prepare the project dataImplement data quality processes including transliteration, parsing, analysis, standardization and enrichment at point of entry and batch modes;
· Deploy mappings that will run in a scheduled, batch, or real-time environment.
· Document all mappings, mapplets, and rules in detail and hand over documentation to the customerCollaborate with various business and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules and propose the optimization of these rules if applicable, then design and develop these rules with IDQUtilize Informatica Developer , Informatica Power Exchange , Informatica Metadata Manager , and Informatica Analyst to design and develop custom objects and rules, reference data tables and create/import/export mappings As per business requirements
· Analyze and provide data metrics to management in order to help prioritize areas for data quality improvementParticipate in improvement of master data management process and support transactional systems and processes
· Good knowledge on writing shell-scripts to invoke mappings or workflowsProficient at writing SQL queries and verifying the resultsShould be familiar in migrating objects from IDQ to PowerCenter or other Informatica tools
· Should be familiar in deploying and validating objects to different environmentsGood at writing test scenarios, performing unit testing, and verifying the end results with business requirementsPerform both record-level and large-scale manual additions, adjustments and corrections to continuously ensure overall data quality and integrity
· Code to and/or create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)Review code developed by other Developers and provide input to and drive programming standardsConsult with other Developers, Business Analysts, Systems Analysts and Project ManagersSupport transition of application throughout the Product Development life cycle.Document what has to be migrated.
