DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES:
New contractor role to manage the organizationally and technically complex work involved in the Identify and Access Management Modernization effort. Performs advanced (senior-level) project management work. Work involves coordinating the planning and initiation of dependent projects at various levels of completion with different project objectives but aligned to a defined and measurable strategic outcome.
The role will define cadence and reporting to executive leadership regarding progress and health of the overall set of projects. The role will monitor the progress and schedule of projects as well as analyze, manage and report on key changes and accomplishments related to project milestones. Reporting will be provided through written and oral updates. The program manager will be responsible to complete MIRP documentation in coordination with our Fed/State Coordinator team.
The role will develop the strategy and perform hands-on coordination of the delivery of the newly developed IAM service to various organizations within HHSC, defining the implementation process and refining that process with each iteration.
Program manager is responsible for communications with project stakeholders, IT executives, management, and other relevant parties. May direct, assign, and evaluate the work of project staff and project managers. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
