Desktop Support 2 (DS2) performs all roles of a DS1 and assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases, orders computer supplies, and works with vendors on supply issues.

The Distance Learning Classroom Manager – Desktop Support - DS2 handles the supports the DL classrooms in all nine (9) locations which includes:
Installation of all hardware and software
Computer imaging
Performing upgrades and repairs
Identification and resolution of problems related to the DL classrooms
Maintenance and support of the audio/visual equipment in the classrooms for video teleconferencing
Maintaining property records and accountability of equipment
managing scheduling
Supplying usage reports to NGB using the Distributed Learning Program Reporting and Scheduling Tool (DLRST

Continued employment will be contingent upon successfully obtaining the required security clearance.
