Location: Hartford, CT / Atlanta GA (Remote until COVID)

PXM Technical Support Specialist

·         Support global Product Information Management (PIM) system, Riversand PIM/MDM.

o   Execute configuration tasks on data model (taxonomy, translations, attributes, assets),

o   reference and assets libraries, and auth model.

o   Work closely with Product Owner to implement necessary changes and enhancements to large and small data sets, based on business requirements.

o   Independently manage detailed log of system changes.

o   Perform QA Testing prior to handoff to business; deploy code changes in DEV and PROD environments.

o   Deliver POC reports for various design approaches and functional enhancements.

o   Provide technical recommendations for system stabilization, estimate level-of-effort/scope for tasks.

o   Coordinate and consult with Riversand vendor on Support tickets, bugs, enhancements, and releases.

o   Determine and execute test activities, QA data from technical perspective.

 

·         Active involvement in requirements gathering, analysis and design discussions, documentation, and execution.

·         As system expert, work closely with business teams on fast-moving projects, translating, documenting, and executing on business requirements and use cases.

·         Take initiative to improve processes, troubleshoot, and problem solve for ongoing operational needs as they arise, i.e. product data quality collection initiatives, cleanup, migration, system error troubleshooting, and gathering business requirements.

·         Author clear and concise process documentation within a well-organized file/resource structure.

·         Address system performance issues: conduct technical audits, improve system performance and availability, troubleshoot, and problem solve with IT teams to expected level of data delivery to users and downstream systems.

·         Serve as key operational support contact for user issues, upload errors, and integrations-related performance.

Experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree required.

·         Minimum 5 years’ experience managing complex data and relationships, in areas of MDM/PIM.

·         Experience working in Riversand PIM/MDM.

·         Knowledge of web technologies, cloud computing.

·         Strong knowledge of development tools and agile methodologies.

·         Previous experience working cross-functionally with business and technical teams to solve data challenges and to support enterprise-level systems.

·         Previous experience working with remote teams across geographies and time zones.

·         Strong background in business, operations, or process improvement.
