Job Title: BI ETL Developer

Location: Remote

ETL Developer

 

Essential Functions/Job Requirements

 

  • Perform ETL/ELT design, development and unit testing, including data acquisition, cleansing, standardization, validation, transformations, database persistence, and job execution processes
  • Assist with evaluating various tests for different environments and tasks
  • Investigate and analyze reported data issues
  • Passion for analyzing data to solve problems and improve systems
  • Passion for solving tough technical challenges and delivering quality products that meets end user requirements 
  • Contribute to writing/maintaining technical documentation
  • Self-motivated, self-directed and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communicator – verbal and written
  • Fast learner who works well in a team environment
  • Good at cross group collaboration

 

Required Experience and skills

 

  • 5 years’ experience working on ETL/ELT data integration projects
  • 3+ years of leadership experience focused on a highly visible customer facing product on a globally diverse team
  • 3+ years’ experience as a hands-on ETL/ELT developer working with:

o Spark: Scala, Python, SQL

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

 

   Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and experience
