BI Architect(Looker)
100% Remote
Fulltime Permanent
Responsibilities
  • Manage end to end delivery by Investigating problem areas, working cross-functionally with product manager & other stakeholders
  • Follow the Agile development methodology; think strategically and execute methodically
  • Develop and manage capacity and growth projection forecasts of the environment within budgets
  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
  • Drive optimization, testing and tooling to improve quality of solutions
  • Manage teams that build and operate high volume distributed systems in a SaaS environment
  • Great at devising efficient processes that increase velocity and quality
  • Coordination with Offshore
  • Creation and approval of Mockups
Desired Experience/ Skills:
  • 6-8 years of experience in analysis, design, development and implementation of Business Intelligence Tools
  • Experience in creating dashboard filters, LOOKML filters, data groups, Dashboards Alerts and navigation of dashboard from links.
  • Experience in creating dimensions, measures, parameters using LOOKML code. Creating derived tables and PDT to enhance the speed of execution of the dashboard.
  • Experience in creating model files, manifest files, explores in Looker
  • Experience in Data visualizations, Scheduling and sharing Looks and dashboards, Table calculations, Looker expressions, Custom and advanced filters, Impacts of pivoting, Looker IDE, Text editor, Looker's SQL Runner, Content Validator, LookML Validator and Version control.
  • Experience in implementing persistent derived tables, caching policies, version control and assess code quality, utilize SQL Runner for data validation.
  • Experience in MicroStrategy and Business Objects
  • Experience in Data Modelling and Data Warehousing, Star schema, snowflake schema, Type 1 and Type 2 SCD, additive, non additive and semi additive facts
  • Good experience in SQL and RDBMS concepts
  • Experience in creating views, materialized views, CTEs and other database objects
  • Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders to identify and meet data requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • At least two years of experience building and leading highly complex, technical engineering teams.
  • Excellent analytical Skills.
  • Has good experience in working directly with customer.
  • Has good exposure on capturing Dashboard requirements and mapping it to underlined Data Model/Semantic layer.
Other Skills/Qualifications:
Bachelor's and/or masters degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
