Responsibilities:
Lead Automation team, responsible for functional validation of CPE products ( Broadband/Routers, STB/TV).
Identify the changes from release notes, customize test plan, Automation trigger/execution of scripts, Test reports generation.
Analyze the script failures , characterization and concluding the reasons of the scripts failures
Identify the Testbed/Infra requirements for executing scripts remotely
Review defects with stake holders, presenting defect details in leadership calls.
Responsible for Analyzing/presenting Test/defect metrics and retrospections on escaped defects
Skill set :
Leadership experience of leading medium to large Automation Test teams
Exposure to Automation frameworks
Understanding of testing principles
Experience in defect management, Test management tools
Scripting knowledge/experience in any language
Experience in Analyzing script failures, defects
Experience in leading Product test team
Experience in leading team in Onsite-offshore model
Exposure to Agile methodologies
Domain Knowledge : Networking , Wifi, TV/STB, Broadband/Router
Exposure to RDK is added advantage.
