Project Overview: QAD Techno-Functional – Mid-Senior
Job Description:
• Required onsite in Fremont, California
• Co-ordinate with customer and onsite co-coordinator to understand the requirements, discuss possible solutions to resolve issues. Ensuring the final output meets the requirement
• Project / task estimation and planning
• Preparation of project documents (Requirements gathering, technical specifications, Test plans, Implementation Plans, Business / Stakeholder communication)
• Hold regular status meetings with the client / stakeholders
• Effectively communicate relevant project information to the client
• Database related activities, performance tuning and knowledge of shell scripting
• Manage and coordinate production deployments (Dev, Test, Stage, Production Environments)
• Working as application support resource, responsible in providing solutions to the Incident Request’s (IR)
• Review and Prioritize daily ticket queue for support, projects and enhancements
• Knowledge transition and mentoring of new team members
Experience:
Minimum 8+ years experience on QAD
Database/Platform: Progress, MFG/PRO (QAD)
Scripting: Linux, Unix, AIX, Windows
Middleware Tools: Qxtend, Apache Tomcat,
QAD EDI: 856 – Shipment Notification, 855 – Purchase Order Acknowledgment, etc.
Technical Skills: (Required)
• Progress software installation
• QAD (MFGPRO) installation
• Tomcat installation and monitoring
• Netui installation/configuration
• Dump and load data
• QAD ERP Recovery
• QAD ERP migration
• After Image Management
• QAD ERP Health check up
